Crib Safety
Babies are such blessings and very precious to us. Here are a few suggestions for crib safety for infants. Fitted sheets should be placed on the mattress and tucked under the mattress at all times. During sleep time, consider a sleeper suit. If using a blanket, place baby's feet at the foot of the crib, and tuck a thin blanket around crib mattress, reaching only as far as baby's chest. Make sure that it rests on top of, not underneath, the baby, and that the baby's head remains uncovered at all times. Infants should never be placed on top of comforters or quilts to sleep to prevent possible suffocation injury. Comforters and quilts are decorative only for infants (12 months of age or younger) and should be removed during sleep time. Pillows should not be used in an infant's bed.
